This weekend marks the three-year anniversary of Mistakes were Made. This site started as an idea, to use some of my historical knowledge and write under appreciated or unknown tales from history. I had no expectations and didn’t know what I was doing. Article ideas were all over the place, as I was constantly testing out what worked and what didn’t. The first article was about the U.S. history of Thanksgiving. It was way too long, badly edited and a grammatical nightmare, but it was a start and a product of love. There were many times I thought about just ending the site because no one was reading, but with encouragement from loved ones, I stuck with it. I can’t believe it’s been three years. Time sure flies. I want to thank all the readers and subscribers. You are the reason I keep writing. Here’s too many more years of this site. Happy Thanksgiving.
